Snowmass Top 10 Summer Activities

The list of things to do in a Snowmass summer is endless. Here are just a few suggestions to ensure you don't miss out on some must-do experiences:

#1: Hike the Rim Trail to Spiral Point and stand on a giant marble yin yang to take in a spectacular view of Mt. Daly. Visit HikeSnowmass.com for trail information.

#2: Saddle up to explore the serene beauty of Snowmass on horseback. Call Snowmass Creek Outfitters at 970.704.0707.

#3: See the iconic Maroon Bells from the top of Elk Camp – earn the view by hiking to the 11,325' lookout, or ride the gondola and chairlift to the top. Elk Camp Gondola & Chairlift open 10am-4pm daily, June 22–September 3, plus weekends through September 30. #4: Choose your adventure at the new Lost Forest on-mountain activity center, complete with an alpine coaster, climbing wall, zip lines and ropes courses. Open daily beginning June 22, 10:00am-3:30pm. Learn more here.

#8: Watch bucking broncos, bull riders and barrel racing at the Snowmass Rodeo, which celebrates its 45th anniversary this summer. Every Wednesday, June 13-August 22; BBQ at 5:00pm, rodeo at 7:00pm, rain or shine. Tickets and info at SnowmassRodeo.org.
